It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily Marion Ellyson of Laurel, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Soren Hansen and Marie C. Hansen; her son Brian Ellyson; and her siblings, George Hansen and Elin Powers.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Duane Ellyson; her caregiver Bob Harding of Laurel; her daughters, Cynthia Mae Johns (Lonnie) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa and Kim Strathman (Mark) of Randolph, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Jennifer Peterson of Dixon, Tyler Ellyson of Kearney, Marclay Johns of Sioux Falls and Jessica Johns of New Brunswick; her great grandchild Kage Peterson of Randolph, Nebraska; and her brother Gordon Hansen (Harriet) of Dixon, Nebraska. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
