It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavaughn Mallatt of Laurel, Nebraska, born in Fordyce, Nebraska, who passed away on December 9, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Mallatt and Marie Juliana Mallatt (Uhing); his wife Marian; his brothers, Gerald Mallatt (Phyllis) and Patrick Mallatt (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Janet Mallatt, Alan Bebee and Melvin Bottger.

He is survived by: his daughter Claudia Dvorak (Dennis); his grandchildren, Austin Dvorak and Alexis Nakamura (Dawn); his great grandchild Talon Nakamura; and his siblings, William Mallatt, Shirley Kraemer and Saundra Bottger.
