He is survived by: his wife Claire Gail Apking of Laurel; his children, Richard Leger (Jan) of Jacksonville, FL and Patricia Leger of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Desi, Heather, Jarrett and Cody; and his sister Beverly Albert of New Orleans, LA. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
