He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Clarence and Millie Milander (Young); his wife Donna; his grandchildren, David Milander, Kristin Milander and Susan Pippitt; and his sister-in-law Jean Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Milander (Carol) of Coleridge, Pam Goering (Kevin) of Platte Center, NE and Karla Pippitt (Greg) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Holly Jareske (Ryan), Amber Liljedahl (Ryan), Heather Behrle (Jon), Jeremy Milander, Bryan Pippitt (Megan) and Scott Pippitt; his siblings, Merlin Milander (Lynn) of Norfolk and Marlene Kellogg of Norfolk; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Puppe (Marilyn) and Linda Milbrath (Daryle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
