He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Stark and Bertha Stark (Koeppe); his wife Mary of John's Lutheran; his siblings, Verna Domsch, Arnim Stark and Wilmer Stark; and his sisters-in-law, Lila Stark and Clarice Stark.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Swanson (Stephan) of Lincoln, Carol Nitzschke (Jay) of Remsen, Patti Cunningham (Toby) of Laurel, Susan Koch (Mark) of Laurel, Steven Stark of Laurel and Alan Stark (Tiffany) of Wakefield; and his siblings-in-law, James Bogenrief and Kathy North. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
