He is survived by: his wife Sally Sue Smith of Laurel, NE; his daughters, Angie Rath (Scott) of Laurel, NE, Amy Nicolas (Phil) of Spicer, MN and Katie Kvols (Ryan) of Laurel, NE; his grandchildren, Riley Lund of Laurel, NE, Shelby Bottolfsen (Trent) of Omaha, NE, Hannah Lund of Omaha, Delaney, Sutton Ehlers of Laurel, NE, Jake Rath of Laurel, NE and Alex Kvols of Laurel, NE; his great grandchildren, Abel Potosnyak of Laurel, NE, Hayden and Beckett Bottolfsen of Omaha, NE.; his brother Wayne Newton of Iowa; his nephew Dusty Newton of Kearney, NE; his niece Tasha McIlnay of Kearney, NE; and his pet Beth.
