It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Crisman Cavanaugh (La Vista, Nebraska), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Robert Killion and Quentin Cavanaugh; her parents, John Crisman and Margaret Crisman; her siblings, Jack, James, Virgil, Robert Crisman and Valerie Abbott; her children, Donna and Jean Marie; and her grandson Jesse Cavanaugh.

She is survived by: her brother Richard Crisman (Renee Parker); her children, Sandy Drexel (Bill), Gary Cavanaugh (Lisa Stasi-Cavanaugh), John Cavanaugh (Julie), Maura Kellar (Robert) and Scott Cavanaugh (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Drexel, Jonathan Drexel (Katie), Nicholas Drexel (Kelly), Christine Wernecke (Corey), Brian Cavanaugh (Sara), Devin Cavanaugh (Makynna Harrington), Justin Cavanaugh, Cassandra Herfindahl (Steve), Garret Stasi (Danielle), Lucas Stasi (Lika), Christina Arispe (Adam), Jeff Cavanaugh (Anna), David Cavanaugh (Megan), Mark Cavanaugh, Teresa Cavanaugh, Megan Cavanaugh, Michael Kellar, Brianna Stack (Caston), Taylor Cavanaugh (Bryan Michael Souza), Jayden Cavanaugh (Jesse Ramon Duenas), Dylan Cavanaugh, Abby Cavanaugh, Rayn Petersen and Lanie Petersen; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sims-Drexel, Claire Drexel, Emma Drexel, Hailey Drexel, Nathan Drexel, Ryan Drexel, Mila Wernecke, Maisy Wernecke, Griffin Wernecke, Collin Cavanaugh, Reina Ayer, Micah Cavanaugh, Gavin, Gabby Herfindahl, Elizabeth Cavanaugh, Isla Stack, Jaxon Stack, Easton Schmitt, Tylee West and Cimara Souza. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Funeral Home (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church (200 E Sixth St, Papillion, NE 68046). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
