He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Zurek and Caroline Zurek; and his siblings, Vern, Stan, Hugo, Edith, Rita and John.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his children, JoAnn Izokaitis (Ed) and Bob Zurek, Jr.; and his granddaughters, Jennifer, Susan Dziurawiec (Bill), Melissa Barnes (Tim) and Vanessa Heim (Dustin). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
