She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elvers and Elizabeth Elvers (McDonald); her husband Leroy; her son Rodney; her grandson David Melvin Jr.; and her siblings, John, Paul Elvers and Elizabeth Beers.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Melvin (Dave); her grandchildren, Jon Stuehm (Lindsay), Jennifer Sintek and Geoff Melvin; her great grandchildren, Ty and Camden Sintek; and her grandchildren, Cash and Presley Stuehm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be designated for capital improvements at Trinity Village and Messiah Lutheran Church.
