He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Carlson and Gustav Carlson; his daughter Pamela Carlson; and his sister-in-law Mary Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carlson; his children, Amy Carlson, Deborah Lukowski (Steve) and Gary Carlson (Diane); his granddaughters, Jessica Lukowski, Nicole Andersen (Justin) and Emma Koestner (Adam); his great grandchild Otis Andersen; and his brother Dennis Carlson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
