He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn J. Novotny; his grandson Steven; and his children-in-law, Sandy, Susan and Mark.
He is survived by: his children, Dale, Joan Carter, Glenn (Michele) and James. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Funeral Home (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint John Cemetery (7506 S 36th St, Bellevue, NE 68147).
