She was predeceased by: her parents, Helge Johan Halvorson and Florence Elizabeth Hall of Irene, SD; her children, Bonnie, Lawrence A. Bennett (Roberta) of Benicia, CA, Michael J. Bennett (Cynthia) of Pittsburgh, PA and Karin E. Goodwin (Matt Becker) of Omaha, NE; her husband Clarence M. Torczon of Platte Center, NE; and her siblings, Harold Halvorson of Viborg, SD, Olava Freeburg of Ft. Dodge, IA, Robert Halvorson of Wakonda, SD, Miriam Nelson of Viborg, SD and Helen Halvorson of Centerville, SD.
She is survived by: her brother Helge Halvorson, Jr. (Patty) of Yankton, SD. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and further extended family.
