She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Janesofsky and Mildred Janesofsky (Gross); her husband Donald Shandera; and her sister Charlotte VanMeter. She is survived by: her children, Gary Shandera (Julie) of Pine Bluffs, WY, Donna Woitaszewski of Cheyenne, WY, Diana Engstrom (Larry) of Kimball, NE, Carol Lukassen (Dennis) of Kimball, NE, Connie Colton of Bismarck, ND and Geri Parsons (Jay) of Lincoln, NE; and her siblings, Frank Janesofsky (Helen) of Oregon, Lois Fornstrom (Melvin) of Pine Bluffs, WY and Mary Catherine Joska of Kimball, NE. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Plains Historical Society and Kimball Friendship Center.
