It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D Miller of Kennard, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Pete Dye; his stepfather Orlin Heermann; his stepbrother Doug Svendgard; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Dye. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Dye; his daughters, Christy Erwin (Clifford), Melissa Jeffery (Gerrin Miller) and Allison Miller (Matthew Skrogstad); his grandchildren, Kaylie, Nathan, Adrianna, Elizabeth, McKenzie and Matthew; his parents, Darrell Miller (Fran) and Joan Heermann; his siblings, Michael Miller (Cathy) and Tara Frickel (Dick); his stepsisters, Tami Johnson (Brian) and Patti Svendgard; his siblings-in-law, David Dye (Kay) and Debbie Beck (Lee); and his mother-in-law Sonja Dye. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Kennard Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
