He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanch Kofoed and Julius Kofoed; his former wife Betty Motz; and his son James. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Deborah Goebel; his nephews, Roy Kofoed, Jr. of Omaha and Larry Kofoed of Council Bluffs; and his stepchildren, Hollis Dickerson, Monica Seemann and Meredith Lockard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
