He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Mathiesen and Naomi Mathiesen (Jansen). He is survived by: his wife Jo Elaine Eix; his children, Matt Mathiesen and Missy Wiemer; his grandsons, Colton, Jake, Luke and Wyatt; and his brother Roger Mathiesen (Judy) of Blair. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
