He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer A. and Irene Necklace Sr. (Whipple); and his siblings, Billy Dunkaburger and Audrey Warnet. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Corrie Ann Necklace (Brandon Hay) of Concordia, KS, Melanie Deaton Friesen of Grand Island, NE and Melissa Ackles (Nathan); his grandchildren, Rhiannon Necklace, Destiny Utter (Bryan Millspaugh), Jordan Rewolinski, Savannah Polen, Robert Polen, Shayla Polen, Brayden VanderBloeman, Alexis Ackles, Zachary Ackles and Bryanna Ackles; his great grandchildren, Delaney Utter, Ryker Millspaugh and Ava Polen; his sister Elrene Montanez (Louie) of Denver, CO; and his nephew Bob Honea of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital.
