He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Mitchell and Betty Mitchell (Luedeman); and his half-sister Sandy Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Mitchell of Kearney; his sons, Cory Mitchell of Kearney and Jake Mitchell (Renee) of Lompoc, CA; and his grandson Logan Mitchell of Lompoc, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
