He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard P Elmer and Arlene L Elmer (Welborn); and his grandson Christopher Kruger. He is survived by: his wife Donna Elmer (Hoyt); and his children, Crinda McConville (Rick) of Indianola, Lewis Elmer (Lavenda) of Briggs, TX, Jeana Kruger (Bryan) of Holbrook, Sharma Dunder (Rob) of Longmont, CO and Monica Matamoros Panero (Rafa) of Madrid, Spain. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or to the American Cancer Society in Owen's name.
