It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ward C. Peterson of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Peterson and Leitha Peterson (Carlson) of Bertrand, NE.; his sister Deanna; and also, Elliott and Delores Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Larson of Kearney; his daughters, Alison, Brooke Larson (Matt) of Lincoln and Ali Svoboda (Seth) of Peoria, AZ; his grandchildren, Soren Svoboda, Vic Svoboda, Collins Larson, Rowan Larson and Bo Svoboda; his siblings, Ramona Karschner (Wayne) of Kearney, Rebecca Bredenkamp (Rod) of Kearney and Tim Peterson (Stacy) of Kearney; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Larson (Lynn) of North Platte and Craig Larson of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members and many friends.
