She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hess and Thelma Hess (Kiesel); her son Randall; and her brother Wayne Hess. She is survived by: her husband Rodney L. Koch; her sons, Russell, Robbie and Ronald Koch (Carol); her grandchildren, Derek (April Leal), Logan and Russell Koch (Quenna); her great grandchildren, Ian Savannah (Meredith Williams) and Mariah (Jeremy Goodrich); her grandson Jeremy Koch (Bailey); her great grandchildren, Hudson, Asher, Jennifer Louthan (Jim) and Jacqui Hendrickson (Austin); and also, Thea Rae, Robbie Koch (Karen), Curtis (Jessica), Jaeden and Rebecca.
