She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald W. Covert and Mae Covert (Long); her daughter Jacqueline Laue; her granddaughter Amy Johnson; and her sisters, Grace Best, Arlene Schultz and Virginia Busher.
She is survived by: her spouse John L. Laue, Jr.; her children, Darrel "Butch" Laue (Cindy) of Bayfield, CO, Jerry Laue (Kay) of Kearney, Patricia Hotz of Omaha, Barbara Johnson (Kenneth) of Kearney and Rita Mortimore (Donald) of Kearney; and her sister Reita Maret of Omaha. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
