Thomas O. Michels Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas O. Michels of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Michels and Gertrude Michels (Lennig); and his sisters, Marjorie Urban and Dorothy Cheesman. He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Michels of Kearney; his children, Helen Lange (Paul) of Kearney, Kelly Schellhase (William) of Kearney and Alan Michels (Margaret) of Payson, Arizona; and his brother John Michels of West Union. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
