Shirley I. Lockhorn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley I. Lockhorn of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Stittle and Irene Stittle (Schuller); her husband Leonard Lockhorn; her son Keith; her brothers, Jerome, Robert and Don Stittle; and her sister-in-law Loretta Lockhorn.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Ken Roth) and Roger (Deb Lockhorn); her grandchildren, Jared, Amanda Roth of Kearney, Kayla, Denver Lohnes of Gretna, Tanner Lockhorn of Lincoln, Madison Lockhorn and Chris Duerschner of Boise, ID; her great grandchildren, Leroy and Naomi Roth of Kearney; her siblings, Kenny (Cyndy Stittle), Pat (Jerome Loeffelholz), Sharon Marzolf of Ravenna, Carol (Victor Kugler), Beverly (Donnie Macek), Marcia (Gary Olson), Annette (Mike Finke) and Cathy (Rich Arrona); and her sisters-in-law, Toni Stittle of Ravenna and Phyllis Stittle of Kearney.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (515 Sicily Ave, Ravenna, NE 68869). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
