He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rasmussen and Deana Rasmussen (Bourlier); his parents-in-law, Laddie and Coral Burton; his son-in-law Eric Linnemeyer; his siblings-in-law, Vince Clemens, Howard Hamilton, Leah Clark and Paula Burton; his niece Katrina Bentivegna; and his great-nephew Booker T. Jackson, III.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Rasmussen of Kearney; his children, Anders Rasmussen (Rebecca) of Lafayette, CO, Austin Rasmussen (Elisha) of Toronto, KS, Adrian Rasmussen of Gibbon, Andrea Rasmussen of Boise, ID, Alexia Wells (Ely) of Redding, KS and Angela Linnemeyer of Kearney; his grandchildren, David, Daniel Wells, Hayden, Hailey Rasmussen, Gabriel, Michael, Josiah Rasmussen, Zoey and Oliver Linnemeyer; and his siblings, Elna Hamilton of Colorado, Kay Clemens, Bonnie Koenig of Washington, Elaine Raffelson and Dean Rasmussen (Sheri) of Sterling, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and several extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Bethany Homes in Minden or to First Lutheran Church in Kearney.
