He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvah Fitzgerald and Clementine Fitzgerald (Mazankowski); his wife Susan J. Luth; and his children, Lori and Eric.

Due to the current COVID-19 concerns a private family graveside service will be held at the Kearney Cemetery.
