Roma L. Grube Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roma L. Grube of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Chapin and Edith Chapin (Kennedy); her brother Richard Faris; her granddaughter Keegan Grube; and her siblings-in-law, Lori Chapin, Deb Hunt, Lucinda Grube and Steve Grube.
She is survived by: her husband Stan Grube of Kearney; her children, Sean Grube (Jen) of Kearney, Shane Grube (Vicki) of Kearney, Richelle Schriner (Daniel) of Kearney and Rachel Woollen (Lee) of Wilcox; her grandchildren, Trevor, Trey, Isaiah, Keira, Mylla, Lacey, Koby, Kelsey, Kirsten, Kenleigh, Reggie, Rhelynn, Rhidelle, Brett, Kaden, Parker and Cooper; her brothers, Barry Hunt of Lebanon, KS and Floyd Chapin of Axtell; and her sister-in-law Judy Faris of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She and her family embraced the challenges and constant changes that come with Alzheimer's with love, compassion and grace. Alzheimer's brought a lot of sadness and struggles to Roma's family but it also brought laughter and a deeper appreciation for the time we have together with our loved ones.
