It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger D. Slack of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Slack and Berniece Slack (Smith); and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Janice Christensen. He is survived by: his wife Debra Slack of Kearney; his children, Cristopher Slack (JaLena) of Seward, Michael Slack (Kerri) of Gibbon, Patrick Slack (Jennifer) of Kearney and Peggy Schmidt (Jordan) of Round Rock, TX; his siblings, Lynn Slack (Janet) of Gibbon, Ramona Kay Webster (Dan) of Gibbon and Beverly Tolbert (Chris) of Oklahoma City, OK; his aunt Betty Slack of Logan, UT; and his brother-in-law Brian Christensen (Brenda) of Victoria, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Gibbon Baptist Church.
