With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Schmitz of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Oconto, Nebraska, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmitz and Irene Schmitz (Barrett); and his siblings, Mary Schmitz, Yvonne Herman, Agnes Meyerring, Francis Schmitz and Gaylord Schmitz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Catherine Schmitz, Anne Finnefrock (Byron) of Denver and Paul Schmitz (June) of Hyattsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the local VFW post.
