He was predeceased by: his parents, Knud Thomsen and Rena Thomsen (Rossen); his son Oscar Knud Thomsen; his grandchildren, Christian Thomsen and Brianne Meza; and his brother Harold Thomsen.
He is survived by: his wife Veda Amstuz; his children, Robert Kevin Thomsen of Albuquerque, NM, Einer Thomsen (Susan) of Omaha, Bernard Thomsen (Nancy) of Shawnee, KS, Sandra Parker (Steve) of Las Vegas, NV, Linda Beery of Wichita, KS, Jean Sidwell (Scott) of Kearney, Christine Krakel (John), Davine Meza (Ygnacio) of Elkhorn, NE and Decca Gard (Rusty) of Fort Worth, TX; and his sisters, Hilda Leachman, Luella Glaze, Delila Cooper and Eloise Snyder. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
