He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Supanchick and Ann Supanchick (Axmann); his son James Supanchick; his sister Betty Petrytus; and his parents-in-law, Ray and Margaret Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Carrol Supanchick of Hazard; his children, Thomas Supanchick of Hazard, Mike Supanchick of Hazard and Peggy Franzen (Barry) of Ottumwa, IA; and his brother-in-law Richard Petrytus of Phoenix, AZ.
