He was predeceased by: his parents, LaMonte Hollertz and Norma Jean Hollertz (Harman); and his sister-in-law Lana Hollertz. He is survived by: his children, Kaylie Soneson (Ethan) of Funk, Nebraska, Ethan Hollertz (Ashley) and Trenda Jones (Alex "Indy" Jones) of Niceville, Florida; his grandchildren, Clay and Maisie Soneson; his children, Kirra, Kellen, Cole, Dean, Easton Hollertz and Baylor Jones; his stepmother Jo Hollertz of Grand Island; and his siblings, Al Hollertz of Holdrege, Kevin Hollertz of Huntley, Nebraska, Tom Smith (Dedra) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jeff Smith of Holdrege, Sue Robinson (Hollertz) of Bloomington, Nebraska and Karen Buettner of Holdrege. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; friends; and extended family.
Memorial Book Signing will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A memorial has been established in Rob's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation; donations can be made at the First State Bank of Holdrege, c/o: Robin Hollertz family.
