He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton McKean and Lois McKean; his former wife Barbara; his son Donald; and his stepdaughter Kim Tijerina.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughter Sue (Wes Hartman); and his stepson Rick (Suzanne Anderson). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
