With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis (Wenzlick) Wells of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wenzlick and Ileene Wenzlick (Stover); her husband Lee W. Wells; her in-laws, Charles and Irene Wells; and her brother-in-law Robert Hazzard.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Jessica) of Lincoln, Sheri Rumbeck (Brian) and Cindi Richter (Jeff); her grandchildren, Isaac Richter (Mikaela) of West Point, IA, Rachel Andersen (Kyle), Christian, Eli Richter of Kearney, Karlie Rumbeck of Oberlin, KS, Austyn, Bladen Rumbeck of Amherst, Ashleigh Welch, Colton Wells, Tyson, Anthony and Blake Wilbur; her great grandchildren, Adalyn and Merrick Richter; her siblings, Shirley Hazzard of Elkhorn and Douglas Wenzlick (Joan); and her brother-in-law Larry Wells. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Elm Creek Fire and Rescue, Zion Lutheran School, or Merryman Performing Arts Center.
