He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Valentine of Kearney; his children, Linda Brott, Irvin "Brub" Dixon of Nebraska City, Joy Slaughter (David) of Kearney, Jackie Hays (David) of The Villages and Jerri Lynn Valentine of Kearney; his sister Velma Patchen of Omaha, Nebraska; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn McClain of North Platte, Nadine Chandler of Paxton, Evelyn Correl (Clarence) of Gering and Donna Daly (Leroy) of Tryon, Nebraska.
