He was predeceased by: his parents, Philo Thompson and Gladys M. Thompson (Penlerick); and his siblings, Michael Thompson, Manuel Thompson, Merlyn Thompson, Patrick Thompson (Sandy), Betty Miner and Edith Taylor (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Thompson of Kearney; his daughters, Susan Tillemans (Cliff) of Gibbon, Sharon Thompson of Kearney, Sandra Erickson (Michael) of North Platte and Shelly Thompson of Kearney, Nebraska; his brother Ross Thompson (Bonnie) of Sidney, Nebraska; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Thompson of Fremont and Janet Thompson of Wilber, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
