It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nimir G. Maloley of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Maloley and Mary Maloley (Malooley); his siblings, Shibble, Faud, Toffie, Zickie, Andy, Leenda Liakos, Sadie Malooley and Esther; his siblings-in-law, Virginia, Lorraine, Mary, Abdou Salem, Ed Malooley and John Liakos; his nephew Jayson Maloley; his niece Josie Awtry; and his cousins, Esa, Anthony, Fay and George Maloley.
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Lori) of Omaha, Pierre (Gina) of Waterloo, Ann of Elkhorn and Phillip; his wife Margo Maloley of Kearney; his son Phil (Ashley) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Liz, Pete, Grace, Claire and Clay; his great grandchild Aurora; his siblings, John of Lexington, Joe (Linda) of Omaha and Victoria Salem of Kearney; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Maloley of Lexington and Joyce Spellman of Minden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held 10:30 a. m., June 9, 2020 at St. George Orthodox Christian Church in Kearney with Fr. Christopher Morris officiating.
