It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Shada of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nicholas Shada to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Shada and Selma Shada (George); his wife Margaret Lorene "Renie" Hartung; and his siblings-in-law, Jim (Karna) and Mixie.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kelly Shada; his sons, Sam Shada (Mary) and Jim Shada (Kelly); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole Shada (Brockhoft) of Lincoln, Nathan, Jamie Shada (Geifer) of Kansas City, KS, Makayla (Michael Zoerb) of Lincoln, Samantha Shada of Los Angeles, CA and Jessica Shada of Avon, CO.; his sisters-in-law, Karna Hartung and Marie Shada of Omaha; his great grandchild Jidea Jidea; and also, John and Elizabeth Hartung (Stuart). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. George Orthodox Church or Yanney Heritage Park Foundation.
