He is survived by: his wife Freda of Kearney; his daughter Linda (Jarold Jacobsen); his son-in-law Duane Freeze of Pleasanton, NE; his siblings, Lyle Hawkins of Bradenton, FL and Darlene Seagraves of DeLand, FL; his grandchildren, Amy Brown (Nick) of Curtis, Adam Jacobsen (Chris) of St. Paul and Hayley Guthard (Monty) of Pleasanton, NE; and his great grandchildren, Connor Cottrell (Emily) of Washington, D. C., Alissa Cottrell of Lincoln, Joseph Brown of Lincoln, Madison Brown of Curtis, NE, Ethan Brown of Curtis, NE, Dakota Franks (Andi Magnussen) of Kearney, Paden Jacobsen of St. Paul, NE and Harper Guthard of Pleasanton, NE.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Central Nebraska Veterans' Home Chapel (4510 E 56th St, Kearney, NE 68847). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Veterans Home, care of the family.
