Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ann Jess of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 80, on August 24, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Everett "Chet" and Alberta Stumpff (Mann). She is survived by: her husband Larry Jess of Kearney; her children, Todd Jess (Melissa) of Elwood, Steven Jess of Council Grove, KS and Laura Mugler (Matthew) of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Austin Goodheart (Brittany), Kearney Jess, Isaiah Jess, Tiannah Mugler and Evin Mugler; her great grandchild Mason Goodheart; and her brother Steven Stumpff (Mary Jean) of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to Kearney First United Methodist Church.
