With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha E. Barton of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edger Lindsey and Dovie Lindsey (DeWene); her husband Ivan "Bud" K. Barton; and her siblings, Rebia Jackson, Vergina Crider, Frank, Jimben, James and Nick Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" K. Barton of Westminster, CO and Elizabeth "Beth" E. Barton of Kearney, NE; her grandchildren, Cody K. Barton of Westminster, CO and Colt N. Barton of Westminster, CO; her great grandchild Elijah "Eli" K. Barton; and her daughter-in-law Ellen Barton Chestnut. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of North Platte.
