He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gifford and Doneta Gifford (Best); and his brothers, Pat Gifford and Tim Gifford. He is survived by: his children, Conan Gifford of Kearney, Tessa Barney (Adam) of Omaha and Vanessa Gifford (Evan Swift) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Cora, William, Oliver Barney, Nora and Isla Swift; and his siblings, Robin Wiles of Kearney, John Gifford of Kearney, Mary Gifford of Kearney and Mickey Gifford of Kearney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
