With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Jean Chromy of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Prague, Nebraska, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Sloup and Marie Sloup (Racek); her husband Bernard G. Chromy; her sisters, Carolyn Novotny and Arlene Arthaud; her son-in-law Edward Hammond; and her granddaughter Adeline Chromy.
She is survived by: her children, Dan (Shelly) of North Platte, Deborah Hammond of Riverdale, Duane (Debbie) of Kearney, Doug (Anna) of Valley Center, KS and David (Jess) of Omaha; and her grandchildren, Alex Hatch (Dominic), Tyson Chromy (Kaylie), Brook Chromy, Benjamin Hammond, Natalie Chromy, Erin Graham, Douglas Chromy, Madison Chromy, Carson Chromy, Cassie Chromy, Cohen Chromy, Jonah Chromy and Archer Chromy. She is also survived by her family and her many friends.
