With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Lee Welch of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Burwell, Nebraska, who passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilbert L. Zorn and Shirley M. Zorn; her sister-in-law Sue Fisher (Gene) of Omaha, NE; and her children, Shannon Vesely (Paul) of Ottumwa, IA, Timaree Yost (Steve) of Omaha, NE, Erin Lane (Dennis) of Blair, NE, Kael Sagheer of Omaha, NE, Chad Welch and Keir Welch of Fargo, ND.. She was also cherished by her 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the University of Nebraska Kearney Foundation and designated for the Welch Family Scholarship Fund.O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home is serving the family.
