It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae M. Johnston (Kearney, Nebraska), born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnston and Edith Johnston (Carlson); her husband Carl Johnston, Jr.; and her daughter Susan Counsell. She is survived by: her children, Bernard Johnston (Sharon) of Bellevue, Carl Johnston (Kim), Bill Johnston (Patricia) of Centennial, CO, John Johnston of Kearney and Sharon West (Jim) of Omaha. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; as well as, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
