It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyla M. Hecox of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd B. Franklin and Mary Ann Franklin (Peterson); her son Kyle Lee David; and her siblings, George, Benny, Arlene and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her son Carroll Gene David (Lorene David); her husband Hubert Hecox of Kearney; her sister Dee Lores (Kendall Klein); and her grandchildren, Ryan David, Michael, Abigail David, Chandra, Jason Hawley, Brant and Deidre Hollister. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Kearney First United Methodist Church.
