He is survived by: his father Pablo Martinez of Minden, NE; his former wife Judy Nollett; his children, Steven Martinez of Norfolk, NE, Ronnie Martinez (Kathy) of Elkhart, IN, Laurie Martinez (Laurie) of Grand Island, NE, Miranda Roper (Shane) of Minden, NE and Chanda Martinez (John Crandall) of Minden, NE; and his siblings, Dee Hansen, Mary Fonceca (Gabe), Dorothy Martinez, Birdie Lopez, Rosa Luevano, Margaret Martinez, Eloisa Cisneros (Marion), John Martinez (Tracie), George Martinez (Laura) and Lupe Martinez (Carrie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
