She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Casey and Irma Casey (Mohler); her husband Bill (Bill); her sisters, Dea Smith (Al) and Mary Nell Price (Nellie); her son-in-law Matt Worthing; and her siblings-in-law, Barb Saum (Hal) and Jim Mithcell (Jean).

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Susan; her children, Kurt Mitchell (Kate) of Overton, Dave Mitchell (Connie) of Elm Creek, Sue Worthing of Kearney and Jan Mitchell of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Casey Mitchell (ReNae), Lea Griese (Bobby), Sam Pfigler (Chris), Mitch Mitchell (Lisa), Kara Longshore (Jason), McKenzie Bertrand (Chris), Ashley Akehi (Kaz), Brad Worthing (Sadie), Sarah Worthing, Andrew Widman (Christine), Allie Wroblewski (Nick), Austin Widman (Andrea) and Delaney Zastrow; her siblings, Lynn Casey Overland (Marty) and Karen Shelmadine (Lannie) of Alliance; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Mitchell (Pat) of Elm Creek and Connie Olsen (Bob) of McCook. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Children's Hospital or the American Kidney Research Fund.
