We bid farewell to Lawrence Schumacher of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Genoa, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 79. Lawrence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Schumacher and Blanche Schumacher (McIntosh); and his siblings, Jerome, Donald, Maralyn Rohloff and Dolores Parry.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Schumacher of Kearney; his children, Christina Schumacher of Kearney, Michael Schumacher of Kearney and Travis Schumacher (Michelle) of Lincoln; his granddaughter Olivia Rose Schumacher; and his sisters, Betty Stanger (Dave) of St. Paul and Dorthea Sempek of Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847).
