It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Nordhues of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Randolph, Nebraska, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "HJ" Nordhues and Lauretta Nordhues (Schmit); his sons, David and William "Bill"; and his siblings, Herman Nordhues Jr., Rosann Pollard, Catherine Heimes, John Nordhues and Joseph Nordhues.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Wilscam) of Kearney, NE; and his children, Charles Nordhues (Kathy) of Omaha, NE, Thomas Nordhues (Lesli) of Clarinda, IA, Robert Nordhues (Patti) of Kearney, NE, Garry Nordhues of Omaha, NE and Jennifer Duncan of Syracuse, NE. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. James Catholic Church or Kearney Goodfellows.
